Despite the negative attention he's been getting - I respect Breezy's grind. I've always had a liking for Keri Hilson songs, and Kevin McCall's writing and production on this hit really brings it back to an Aaliyah and Ginuwine kind of vibe. I dig it - do you?

Summer Body 2011 - Grind Mode...

Since last year's post - I have gone through a wave of changes in life. The big move, the big move-out, back to school, all kinds of stresses and joys. I recently got off my BC pills, because they had my hormones in a fit of rage, and it changed the way my body reacted to my workouts. Now - I'm ready to get back on my fitness path once again. This time, I've got a few new reinforcements.

Sometimes, we need a little jump start for our metabolism. Last year, I used Acetyl L-Carnitine and got awesome results. I decided to switch it up a bit, and try L-Carnitine alone. Today was day one - and I had a great deal of energy to go with my workout. I skipped running and did weighted jump rope instead. Ab-work and cardio are my two favorite things. This liquid supplement has a nice vanilla flavor to it, and I feel like I got results instantly. 

After my conventional ab-work, I used my Slendertone machine. LittleBrother put me on to this machine about a month ago, and I've been using it once a day for the past two weeks. It definitely works. I have since upped it to twice a day at a higher setting.

Basically, Slendertone sends waves to the abdominal muscles and does crunches for you. At level 56 - it hurts, and you can physically feel your abs jumping! For a little over one hundred dollars, it's a great addition to any workout plan. Two more weeks, and i think I'll have my desired result.

I started seeing my ab lines again - that is definitely a good feeling! 


  I'm no fitness guru - just sharing what works for me, and documenting my progress. Spoke to my bodybuilder customer yesterday, and this week will consist of lean meats, greens and fruit. Light indulging over the weekend - but just enough to still fit my swimsuits. I'm happy with it so far, let's see where I can take it!
